Privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026

This policy explains what information NetDesignKit collects and how it is handled, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Information you enter into tools

Calculators such as the subnet planner run entirely in your web browser. Values you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to us or stored by us.

Lookup tools need to ask other services for an answer:

  • What’s my IP shows the public IP address your connection comes from, with network details provided by Cloudflare. We display it back to you and do not store it.
  • WHOIS lookup sends the domain, IP address or AS number you enter to rdap.org and the relevant internet registry. We do not store your queries.
  • DNS lookup sends the name you enter, through our lookup service, to Cloudflare’s public DNS resolver (1.1.1.1). We do not store your queries. See Cloudflare’s resolver privacy commitments.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. We may use privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics to count page views. These do not identify you or follow you across other sites.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Mailing list

If you sign up for the free cheat sheet, we collect your email address, the date and time you agreed, and the IP address you signed up from, as a record of your consent. We use your email only to send the cheat sheet and occasional updates about new tools and templates.

Our mailing list is managed by MailerLite, which stores this information on our behalf. See MailerLite’s privacy policy. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your details at any time.

Purchases

When templates go on sale, payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider. We will receive your name, email address and order details, but never your full card details.

Contact

For privacy questions or to access or correct information we hold about you, email support@netdesignkit.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, for example if we add advertising, and show the date of the latest change above.
